Bendy Leg Competition

Sunday night, Brennan and his girlfriend Marshell came over for dinner. It was great to see them. And then we played Scattegories ... and then ....

We had a BENDY LEG COMPETITION! My Thompson kids have rubber legs and can bend in weird ways. It's hilarious ------ and a bit disturbing.

Brennan and Shawn smoked the competition in their morbid and rubber drops! They didn't even have to try ... these 6-Foot+ boys dropped like rag dolls onto the floor and their legs just folded under them. Ugh!

Cody had to get into the action. His 4-year-old body had no trouble folding, but he hammed it up after watching his Dad and brother in their pitiful attempt .... 

This was the only picture I could get of the two pitiful Dowdle's trying to bend. They never made it past prayer-pose. It was an awfully embarrassing moment for the whole family, and one we hope to soon forget.

Deb and Marshell do the family proud with our bendy legs. However, the old on in the picture is having a bit of trouble with her feebleness. I suppose we excuse age ... right?

Grandma was unwilling to take up the challenge, [insert chicken sounds] but Brennan loves her anyway.

Claire gets a pity-hug from Brennan as she makes her prego-excuses for not playing with the family. Okay, fine ... more excuses. Kidding! We understand the pregnant and feeble and the multitude of excuses that follow them famished chickens.

Yet another fabulous and weird night at the Dowdles!

We surely like Marshell and are so glad she could come play with us.
