Home from China

Eric went to China for business and came back with wonderful Chinese outfits for the whole family. He also brought back place settings ... so I threw together some Chinese food (from Harmons) and we had a lovely time playing with chop stickes and listening to Dad tell stories from the Orient. His stories are always better than the "real" thing anyway. What a great night. And what a great Dad!

Double Yellow Stripe

Cody's FIRST rank advancement in Taekwondo! He was SO EXCITED and he worked really hard for his double yellow stripe. Next is yellow stripe and now that he knows how awesome an advancement feels, he'll practice even more. I'm proud of you Codes!

The white belt pose. It's about to go away and be replaced by a DOUBLE YELLOW STRIPE ... yahoo!

Waiting for his name to be called

General Relief Society Leadership Training

Suzie, Tammy and I spent our whole morning in Salt Lake attending a wonderful leadership training where we were instructed by the General Relief Society Presidency and Board. We enjoyed ourselves immensely and learned a great deal. We also got to spend some time together, which we loved. The only draw-back? We didn't get to play longer!
