Releasing the Boise State Broncos Painting

On the way to Boise we stopped at Uncle Mark and Aunt Niki's house where Eric and Cody took a very hot dip in a very cold yard

Once we got to Boise, the work began at RC Willey where Eric started signing away. We were visited by our cousins Robert and Tia Dowdle. Warren (the one in a red vest) is Eric's brother.  We stayed at his beautiful house being cared for by his beautiful wife for the few days we were in Boise.
Cousin Nicole also stopped by and got her photo-op while Eric signs a framed piece of art for a BSU fan

Eric, born and raised until he was nine in Boise, met up with cousins, former teachers and classmates and friends from yesteryear. Here is Eric's best friends' mom from grade school affectionately known as "Sister Murdock".

Todd Boothe (RC Willey's kind and very cool GM), Deb, Eric and Det (a super-dooper-sales trooper)

A number of customers got wind of Eric's painting early on and had their families painted in the stands. These uber-fans picking up their custom piece, appear pretty darn happy to me!

In our crawl home, we were stopped by a wall of cars and semis sitting like a graveyard in a blizzard. If you look close, you can see the trail of immobile cars and semis spread up and over the hill.

Getting closer revealed the reason. A brother-semi banged up and turned over on its side.

I obviously had enough time while passing to get a picture of the sad underbelly.

Just beyond the semi, a green truck that we has previously seen passing us very quickly, was rolled and crushed in the median. They were using the jaws of life to pry the poor guy out. We feel very blessed to have made it home safely and pray for the families of all these people who were so unfortunate ... especially right before the holidays.

Guess what we did last weekend?

In partnership with RC Willey of Boise, Idaho, Eric released his Boise State University Football painting. I think it's beautiful and the people of Boise seem to agree. Eric sold all his inventory in two days and was taking orders (to to be delivered before Christmas --- ugh). We had a great visit and especially enjoyed Todd Booth, the General Manager of RC Willey ... he's a very cool guy that everyone should go meet and shake hands with.

The drive home from Boise was another story. The weather was so bad it felt as if we were boating over white-caps verses a nice solid road. We passed some awful accidents and eventually crawled back home to a warm house welcoming us with Christmas lights, kinda' happy children and very happy peacocks.

Man! Boise LOVES their football team!!!
