May 2 may be just another day to most people, but to the Dowdles, it is a day of celebration for that is the day that Dad was born! It is a day of being with family, having donut eating contests, playing games, laughing, and eating a decadent chocolate cake adorned with walnuts and little jimmie sprinkles. It is a day to show Dad how thankful we are for the many hours he spends keeping a roof over our heads, food on our plates, and important thoughts in our heads. What a guy this guy is! He's our Dad and we love him.

Hard to believe it's been 20 odd years since we celebrated your birthday with you in Sherman. That was a lifetime ago. Good to see it was a great day for you.
